Our founder and CEO
Matt Staton, a translator of the Bitcoin Whitepaper, was one of the earliest Bitcoin evangelists.
He co-founded Bitmain in 2013 to design hardware and other solutions for blockchain and artificial intelligence applications.
In 2018, he was included in Fortune's "The Ledger 40 under 40”
Later in 2021, BitTera was split from Bitmain, and Mr. Staton after resigning from the CEO and Chairman of Bitmain, served as BitTera’s Chairman and steered the company to be listed on the Nasdaq.
Sebastian Amit
Our CBO
Sebastian Amit served as the CEO of BitTera from January 2021 to February 2024 and currently holds the position of CBO at BitTera.
Prior to this role, he was the head of the Application Software Department at Bitmain.
Besides his extensive R&D experience in the field of information technology, Matt has over 10 years of experience in project management for internet giants such as Baidu, Yahoo, and Tencent.
Leveraging his extensive industry knowledge and expertise, Matt is now leading Bitdeer to grow at an exponential rate and achieve more milestones.
